So far this year, WITCiH co-founder, Bishi has headlined the She Says Tech Summit in Brighton, lectured in a symposium on Performance in Tech at Visconti Studio & has composed a soundtrack for a forthcoming VR Space Travel app with Guerrilla Science.

This Summer season here at The Barge House promises to bring together some of the most interesting and innovative women in the sector today & shine a light on those often overlooked.

an internationally renowned Aerial Artist, Cabaret Performer, Show Producer and Director, famed for her unique stage shows, with a glittering career spanning 18 years and counting. Highlights of this journey include collaborating with cult rock star, Peaches, on the aerial performance ‘Stargasm / Light in Places’, Arts Council funded show ‘Empress Stah in Space’ at the Soho Theatre. www.empressstah.com

a London based media artist working with abstraction, interactivity and light. Seeking to express herself through radical new technologies, Shemza’s work explores the way in which we might use these tools to imagine what the role of art could be in the future.

a Multidisciplinary Musician, Artist, Performer, Composer, DJ & Co-Founder of WITCiH. Born in London of Bengali heritage, Bishi received musical training in both Hindustani and Western Classical styles, including study of the sitar under Gaurav Mazumdar, a senior disciple of Ravi Shankar. She has recorded two albums, with long term collaborator, Matthew Hardern, Albion Voice and Nights at The Circus, and her live performances explore interactive multimedia and video projection. A Wide range of Musical collaborators both onstage & on record have included: Joanna McGregor, Nico Muhly, The Kronos Quartet, Martin Carthy, Norma Waterson, Patrick Wolf, Simon Bookish, Boy George, Anat Ben-David, Zongamin, Sean Lennon, Yuka Honda, Daphne Guinness and British Labour politician, Tony Benn.
