A monthly foodie heaven, we’ve partnered with our neighbours the East London Liquor Company to bring you the Perfect Pairing.
TBH Head Chef Luke Dunwoodie has been working with Mikey Pendergast, one of the founding members of East London Liquor to create an incredible menu of food and drink.
Luke was appointed Head Chef at the beginning of this year. Whilst delivering Barge House favourites he is busy creating new dishes of the season and taste bud sensations.
Mikey has been working in the drinks industry for over a decade. When he’s not conducting training programs, in the UK and abroad, he’s creating new liquors to develop and expanding the East London Liquor Company’s own cocktail menu.
We are delighted that Mikey found the time in his busy schedules to work with Luke to create a menu of delicious and elegant cocktails that compliment and highlight the flavours of both the food and their customised distillates.
Mikey’s approach is like alchemy. He combines his knowledge of the spirit production, his research into neurobiology, chemistry and gastronomy as he tailors each drink to cuisine, décor and environment. His depth of talent paired with Luke’s knowledge, skill and understanding of food and palate means you can expect a truly unique dining experience.
